Okay, maybe it’s a little presumptuous to call Tom van den Bout our architect, but he is one of our trusted advisers and author of many of the designs we’re showing you on MHB. Which is why we’re proud the Tom has been named one of the top 10 movers and shakers of Brooklyn Heights by the venerable Brooklyn Heights Blog. As president of the Brooklyn Heights Association, Tom has helped relaunch the organization both visually (they have a new Web site) and philosophically. BHB reports he’s trying to make the organization more “inclusive, contemporary and socially relevant.” He told the BHB, “I’m hoping that we can bring a little life (civic and/or just plain old fun) to the neighborhood.”
