Last week, our partner site Brennan Realty Services proudly announced it would join the Brooklyn Heights Association in co-sponsoring Battling for Brooklyn Heights: The Fight for New York’s First Historic District by Martin L. Schneider. The book provides an insider’s look into how the citizens of Brooklyn Heights fought Robert Moses and other interests to preserve their historic community. (And we love historic preservation!) The book will be published in the late fall, and corresponds with the Brooklyn Heights Association’s 100th anniversary this year.
