I just read “Montrose Morris”‘s account of William Hemstreet. He is my wife’s “Uncle Bill”, and we just mounted a series of photographs, showing him as a private, lieutenant, and then colonel. I also have a clipping about the Poe mantle, if I can find it. Let me know if you’d like me to send a picture of the photos.

The numbers for Brooklyn Heights seem like complete nonsense. They are showing up to a 20% decline in population in the neighborhood since 2000! That makes no sense at all.
