About MyHome, Brooklyn – You Own
You Own is for buyers interested in single-family residences or a home within a multi-family property containing 10 units or less, who want to work with the developer to acquire, design and create these dwellings. Our goal is to lower risk for all parties, deliver a superior quality product and improve satisfaction among buyers and sellers alike.
How Does it Work?
MyHome, Brooklyn is a collaborative undertaking. There are only two steps in You Own.
Step 1 – The Survey: We pick properties that we find ripe for redevelopment – offering suggested floor plans, background information and photos – and invite you, the prospective homeowner, to discuss, evaluate and assign what you think is a fair value to the unit; you tell us what you like and what you would pay.
Step 2 – Your Home: Using your pricing guidance, we will pursue the redevelopment of the entire project, delivering a product that meets or even exceeds the price you desire. You can be our partner in acquiring and redeveloping the property, and customizing your particular home. We have a proven track record of redeveloping historic properties with spacious layouts, quality finishes and lasting value.
