About MyHome, Brooklyn – You Rent
You Rent is for parties interested in multi-family residences that would be used as rentals. Investors work with the developer to acquire, design and create these dwellings. Our goal is to lower risk for all parties, deliver a superior quality product and improve satisfaction among buyers and sellers alike.
How Does it Work?
MyHome, Brooklyn is a collaborative undertaking. There are only two steps in You Rent.
Step 1 – The Survey: We pick properties that we find ripe for redevelopment – offering suggested floor plans, background information and photos – and invite you, the prospective homeowner, to discuss, evaluate and assign what you think is a fair value to the unit; you tell us what you like and what you would pay.
Step 2 – Your Home: Using your pricing guidance, we will pursue the redevelopment of the entire project, delivering a product that meets or even exceeds the price you desire. You can be a future tenant and have the opportunity to customize your particular home. We have a proven track record of redeveloping historic properties with spacious layouts, quality finishes and lasting value.
Meet Your Partner, Donald Brennan
Donald is a native New Yorker, longtime Brooklyn resident and 22-year veteran of NYC real estate. He mixes a keen business sense with a finely developed aesthetic sense, thanks to 14 years as an architect followed by a career as a commercial and residential real estate analyst, appraiser and developer. He founded Brennan Real Estate in 2002.
